Train the Trainer
I provide student lessons on gender and consent and offer coaching and support to educators. This program includes an initial training session to introduce the curriculum and provide overall facilitation strategies for discussing gender and consent. Additional coaching sessions will occur midway during the student workshops and after their completion. During these sessions, I am there to support faculty in responding to challenges or questions from students, as well as reflect on and refine the curriculum to best address the specific needs within the community.
Peer to Peer Learning
This program focuses on providing training to Peer and Community Educators of all ages and backgrounds on having transformative conversations related to gender-based violence. Participants will have the opportunity to identify and analyze emerging trends, behaviors and attitudes within community, learn about the dynamics of gender norms and how they contribute to various forms of gender based violence, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, and offensive language. Peers will investigate the role that community members can play in challenging rape culture and leading prevention efforts alongside their peers.
